CWCI President Alex Swedlow to co-present on 9/12 at CAJPA Annual Conference

The Institute's President, Alex Swedlow, has been invited to co-present a session at the California Association of Joint Powers Authorities' 35th Annual Conference, to be held September 11-14, 2018, in South Lake Tahoe.

The California Association of Joint Powers Authorities (CAJPA) was formed in 1981 to meet the need for communication and cooperation among the newly formed JPAs. Its founders structured an association that serves as an information and educational network; one that has grown to also promote unique insurance and risk management concepts and services for its members.

Alex will be joined by DWC Administrative Director, George Parisotto, for a session entitled "Answers and Questions About the California Workers' Compensation System." The pair will offer a detailed primer on current issues and upcoming events that drive the California system, followed by a spirited audience participation round of “Jeopardy.” The presentation will take place on Wednesday, September 12, from 4pm - 5:15pm.
